[Snack Attack - America] Trader Joe's Gummy Tummies Penguins with Soft Tummies

Long time, no snack attack post, but I'm here with Trader Joe's Gummy Tummies Penguins with Soft Tummies snacks.

Sorry about the quality of photos! I found these in my drafts and realized that these were from a while ago and I never posted them.

I love gummies - I think I might do a whole series sometime about gummies. If I choose to use calories to eat sweets, it'll probably be gummies.

So, I was in the checkout line at Trader Joe's at the 72nd location...if you live in Manhattan, you know about that infamous location.

These Gummy Tummies Penguins with Soft Tummies were an impulse buy, partially because I love gummies, partially because I was hungry, and partially because I love penguins.

I had high hopes for these snacks and opened them up. Let me just say, never look the penguin in the eyes because you'll likely notice that the penguins' mouths are creepy Joker-size for its small head. The penguins also have strange feet..they kind of look like Grimace, the purple chicken nugget guy - I actually am not sure what he is supposed to be, but I always thought he was a purple McNugget.

I thought it was going to be a Trader Joe's version of a gummy Fruit Gusher (my favorites are the pink lemonade or strawberry peach flavors).

So, the gummy texture itself is great. If the gummy was the gummy throughout, I would have loved it! What threw me off and wasn't so enjoyable for me was the liquid in the soft tummy. The three flavors of the liquid were cherry, strawberry, and lime. I thought the lime was tolerable, but the cherry flavor really reminded me of the cherry cough syrup that I had to take as a child. So, I just had a visceral reaction and since I couldn't trust the cherry ones and strawberry is pretty similar color to cherry, I kind of couldn't fully trust the strawberry ones, either. I'm just 10000% happy that they didn't have a grape flavor.

Even though it wasn't my favorite, I did finish the bag.

There are so many penguin gummies that I want to buy. I just did a quick Amazon search. Let me know if you want me to try some and review them here. Link me which ones I should try! Also, don't buy the Trader Joe's product on Amazon, the prices are crazy and never trust a third party reseller!

Price: 1.99 USD

If you feel tempted at all to buy from Amazon, leave a comment. If there are enough comments here and on the Instagram post, maybe I'll put together a small Trader Joe's giveaway of some of my favorite Trader Joe's snacks and some other ones that are just okay (in my opinion).

[Skincare Review] Head-to-Head Test: Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair vs. La Mer The Concentrate

As promised, here is my blog comparing the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair vs. the La Mer The Concentrate. FTC disclaimer: I was sent both of these items for free in exchange for my full and honest review. I tried to be as scientific as humanly possible. I had a blinded reviewer (my mom) who was actually unaware I was even doing a skincare test, so her opinion is completely blinded and she tried really hard to give a full and honest review of differences she noticed. I did this for 2 weeks. In the 14 days before the test, I was testing out the Estee Lauder ANP product in exchange for my review. I had enough product left (and actually received a second sample to test). My nighttime skincare routine was the same as usual. 1) DHC Cleansing Oil - Buy from YesStyle | Buy from Amazon 2) Micellar Water (for eye makeup) 3) Rosette Cleansing Paste Sea Clay Smooth - Buy From YesStyle  | Buy from Amazon I used my PMD Clean (from CAUSEBOX) to wash my face.
