[Honolulu - Downtown] Kai Coffee - Macadamia Nut Kai Latte

On a quest to try everything macadamia nut, we stopped in at Kai Coffee for a Kai Latte.

I had been trying to find the best macadamia nut latte in preparation for the trip and Kai Coffee kept coming up on every list.

As an aside, each cafe we stopped in had the option of making a small donation for a reusable straw that you can keep, so keep your eye out for this if you also want to get on the reusable straw train.
This is the Kai latte aka the macadamia nut latte. It was semi-sweet with a subtle nut flavor. We had the option of adding some macadamia nut cream on the top, but I wanted a treat (aka a latte) and didn't necessarily want to have the cream on the top, too. But, for all you treat yo' self life livers, that is definitely an option for you.

That being said, this is definitely a treat! At $5.25 for a small size, it's definitely not a treat for your wallet. I'm happy I had the opportunity to try it, but I think I'll stick with the other wonderful Hawaiian coffees.

Since my dad is not a coffee drinker and he wanted a cold beverage, he went with the strawberry mango raspberry smoothie.

[Skincare Review] Head-to-Head Test: Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair vs. La Mer The Concentrate

As promised, here is my blog comparing the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair vs. the La Mer The Concentrate. FTC disclaimer: I was sent both of these items for free in exchange for my full and honest review. I tried to be as scientific as humanly possible. I had a blinded reviewer (my mom) who was actually unaware I was even doing a skincare test, so her opinion is completely blinded and she tried really hard to give a full and honest review of differences she noticed. I did this for 2 weeks. In the 14 days before the test, I was testing out the Estee Lauder ANP product in exchange for my review. I had enough product left (and actually received a second sample to test). My nighttime skincare routine was the same as usual. 1) DHC Cleansing Oil - Buy from YesStyle | Buy from Amazon 2) Micellar Water (for eye makeup) 3) Rosette Cleansing Paste Sea Clay Smooth - Buy From YesStyle  | Buy from Amazon I used my PMD Clean (from CAUSEBOX) to wash my face.
