I stumbled upon here because I was going to Union Market to get doughnuts. Check in next Thursday for that post!
It's full of really unique cute items. Almost all, if not all, of the items are made by local artists and small businesses. It's kind of like the DC version of Silvana (my post here) in Harlem NYC and Bulletin (my post here) in Soho NYC or Williamsburg NYC, but less themed.
It's a great place to pick up some cute DC items that are different than your typical Constitution or Declaration of Independence posters...you know what I'm talking about. It's full of cute housewares, bar essentials (like shrubs, etc), and cute handiwork like scarves, blankets, etc.
I'm also a huge sucker for unique greeting cards. Seriously, I could easily spend upwards of an hour looking at unique cute greeting cards (ie. ones not made by Hallmark or American Greetings). Salt & Sundry has a huge section of greeting cards that you'll for sure be able to find one (or 6) you want to buy.

When I went, there was also a popup of Little Leaf. Not sure how long it ran for or if it's still there. It was full of cute plants in really cute, unique, also DC creative pots and planters. There were tons of succulents, air plants, and larger plants that require more maintenance when I was there. It was super cute. It was a little pricey and not ideal for me since I had to bus back to NYC, but it'd be a cute housewarming gift for a DC friend.
Back at Salt & Sundry. Here's some snaps I took of some of the cute housewares merchandise.
Some of the unique cooking, spices, cocktail mixers/shrubs, etc.
Some more merchandise.
If you're really observant, you'll notice that Marissa bought a plate from Salt & Sundry and we used it as the plate in the Bibble and Sip post.
If you're not in DC, but want to browse Salt & Sundry's products, I found their site here: https://www.shopsaltandsundry.com/ (not an affiliate, just wanted to let you know about it!).
