[Korea] Incheon Airport: Buying Korean SIM Card - Terminal 2

I am happy to report that there are plenty of options for buying a Korean SIM card or renting a portable WiFi in Terminal 2 even at 4AM.

If you want to skip the lines, you can buy a prepaid SIM chip here (affiliate link). There are also options to rent a portable Wifi Egg, etc. on that same site. It'll reduce some of the stress of figuring out the best price, etc. and worrying about English (the customer service is great and available in English).

Travel tips - tons of discounts and travel deals below.
  1. Buy your SIM card: Prepaid 4G/LTE Sim Card: Unlimited Data+Voice call+SMS (5/7/10/15/30 days)
  2. Get a great view of Seoul: Discount Seoul City Tour Bus Ticket
  3. Great Korean (traditional and modern) culture and cooking classes
  4. Book a food and shopping tour.
Our Korean Air flight from NYC to Seoul (find that post here) arrived at about 4AM, so I was not sure which airport amenities would be open, if any, at Incheon Airport, especially since we arrived in the NEW TERMINAL - Terminal 2.

Terminal 2 serves Korean Air, Delta, Air France, and KLM.

If you do end up waiting until you get to Korea to purchase a SIM chip, the best in-person deal is in the photo above (this was in the brand new Korean Air terminal - Terminal 2).

The best price is still at Trazy(affiliate link), but I do understand wanting to do it in-person because of worries about using your card online, etc. or wanting to pay in cash.

If you're going to be in Korea for a longer amount of time (more than one month), check out my previous post about getting a phone plan in Korea.
