[Seoul - Myeongdong] BurgerB - Handmade Burgers and Craft Beer

Burger B is a bit of a chain in Seoul, I have been to the location in Youngdeung-po Times Square Mall, too. It serves up burgers, fries, and beer.

This particular day, we were looking for lunch in Myeongdong as my mom's new glasses were being made.
So, we headed to Noon Square for some burgers and beer.

Actually, this particular Burger B is a good place for people watching. It's on the fifth floor of one of the busiest, if not THE busiest, streets in Myeongdong.

Burgers have come a long way in Seoul, but still have a bit of room for improvement (same with tacos, but that's a whole different story for another day).

Burger B is pretty goo and probably around some of the better ones you can get without taking a special trip to another part of the city.

We ended up ordering one tasting pack (34,000 - includes 1 Miso Burger, 1 Ultimate BB burger, and 1 tasting sampler of beer) and then a Memphis burger.

This is the Memphis burger. It is topped with jalapeno relish, cole slaw, and BBQ pork brisket. (9500 KRW). The burger is really juicy and the toppings all add to the flavor. It is kind of spicy, but not overly spicy.

This is the Miso Burger (included in the tasting pack). Originally 9000KRW. It is still a little pink in the middle, however I would have liked to have the option to order it a little pinker. It is topped with a slice of pineapple and has miso butter and tomato and lettuce to finish it off.

This was a pretty good burger, flavorful and still juicy.

This is the Ultimate BB Burger (part of our tasting pack). It is originally 15,000 KRW. I have had this both times I have eaten at Burger B and it has not disappointed me. If you're not a fan of truffle flavoring, you should steer clear because this is SUPER truffle-y. It is also topped with gruyere cheese and caramelized onions.

If you order the Ultimate BB Burger, you get a side of fries and a vanilla milkshake shot. I am a huge fan of shoestring/thin fries, so I am happy getting fries here.

If you order most of their other items, you have to order the fries on the side.

This is the beer sampler that came with our tasting pack. It's usually 16,000 KRW.
From L to R: bB lager (amber lager), Stalker (pale ale), Pit-a-pat (IPA), Export stout (Stout)

The very comprehensive menu (click to enlarge)!

And, as an FYI, for people who may work in the Myeongdong/City Hall area, there is a "Smart Lunch" set for only 9500 KRW. It comes with one of the pictured main items, a side of fries, and a soda.

Noon Square Mall, floor 5
Nearest subway is: Euljiro-1-ga (line 2), exit 6. Walk straight to the fourth street, it'll be the biggest street. You'll see signs for Zara and H&M.

If you're just shopping in Myeongdong, it's the main shopping street with all of the food carts and makeup stores.

[Skincare Review] Head-to-Head Test: Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair vs. La Mer The Concentrate

As promised, here is my blog comparing the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair vs. the La Mer The Concentrate. FTC disclaimer: I was sent both of these items for free in exchange for my full and honest review. I tried to be as scientific as humanly possible. I had a blinded reviewer (my mom) who was actually unaware I was even doing a skincare test, so her opinion is completely blinded and she tried really hard to give a full and honest review of differences she noticed. I did this for 2 weeks. In the 14 days before the test, I was testing out the Estee Lauder ANP product in exchange for my review. I had enough product left (and actually received a second sample to test). My nighttime skincare routine was the same as usual. 1) DHC Cleansing Oil - Buy from YesStyle | Buy from Amazon 2) Micellar Water (for eye makeup) 3) Rosette Cleansing Paste Sea Clay Smooth - Buy From YesStyle  | Buy from Amazon I used my PMD Clean (from CAUSEBOX) to wash my face.
