[Seoul - Samcheongdong] D'Industry Cafe D-55 - Original Shrimp Burger + Rooftop Seating

My friend and I decided to take advantage of nice weather (a while ago) to go to D'Industry in Samcheongdong for brunch.

Weekend means one thing, BRUNCH, the most wonderful meal of the week.

Two areas of Seoul that I love for brunch are Samcheongdong (near Anguk Station) and Garosugil (near Sinsa Station).

Since the weather was so beautiful, we decided to sit on the rooftop.

The view is quite cute! This will also give you a bit of a sense of where it's located, across the street from the belif store!

The place settings and the decor were quite nice. This cafe also doubles as a furniture cafe. Yes, that's apparently a thing.
I liked the minimalist, modern decor.

Right by the rooftop (about 5 tables) is a nice sunroom, which seats about 10~12 comfortably (two tables of 6).

There are also seats on the main floor.
We opted to share the Chicken Caesar Salad.

And The Original Shrimp Burger

We really enjoyed the shrimp burger! It was very flavorful. Sometimes, shrimp burgers can be kind of fishy tasting, but this one wasn't at all. It was seasoned perfectly and cooked perfectly, handmade to perfection.

One of the best things were the HANDMADE POTATO CHIPS! I love potato chips. Unfortunately, these were not seasoned very well right after they were taken out of the fryer and, by the time it made it to our table, it was too late to do anything about it.

The salad was good, but really overly dressed. Not completely sold on it...especially given its pretty steep price.

If you want to try something else, they also have pastas and other handmade burgers to choose from. We didn't want to have anything too heavy, so we went for the salad instead.

It's also a full cafe and offers an array of espresso-based beverages, wines, and beers.

I don't remember the exact prices, but the total for the burger and salad was about 35,000KRW.
It's a bit pricey, but a pretty good atmosphere and fresh ingredients.

[Skincare Review] Head-to-Head Test: Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair vs. La Mer The Concentrate

As promised, here is my blog comparing the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair vs. the La Mer The Concentrate. FTC disclaimer: I was sent both of these items for free in exchange for my full and honest review. I tried to be as scientific as humanly possible. I had a blinded reviewer (my mom) who was actually unaware I was even doing a skincare test, so her opinion is completely blinded and she tried really hard to give a full and honest review of differences she noticed. I did this for 2 weeks. In the 14 days before the test, I was testing out the Estee Lauder ANP product in exchange for my review. I had enough product left (and actually received a second sample to test). My nighttime skincare routine was the same as usual. 1) DHC Cleansing Oil - Buy from YesStyle | Buy from Amazon 2) Micellar Water (for eye makeup) 3) Rosette Cleansing Paste Sea Clay Smooth - Buy From YesStyle  | Buy from Amazon I used my PMD Clean (from CAUSEBOX) to wash my face.
