[Boston - Fenway] Sweet Cheeks Q - American Barbecue

One of the first places I ate in Boston was Sweet Cheeks Q and it was great.

Barbecue and homestyle sides that are plenty filling and very tasty. The sauce is on the side, so it's up to you which kind (out of four) you want. They have full bar, but also really great sweet tea. Another favorite, that I have not yet tried, are the biscuits--which are huge and can come in a bucket. Sweet Cheeks is in the Fenway neighborhood, just a few blocks from Fenway Park, so it's a great place to go before or after a game (or tour). It's also very close to many of the Colleges of the Fenway and the Longwood Medical Area.

The address is 1381 Boylston St., Boston. I would recommend reservations, which you can make at their website, where the whole menu is also available.

This is what it looks like from the street. In the summer, there is outdoor seating.

Pulled pork with coleslaw, mac and cheese (in the blue thing), pickles, and onions.

Brisket (I think), mac and cheese, potato salad, pickles, and onions.
