[NYC - West Village] Popbar - Custom ice cream bars and fruit bars

Popbar is a chain with locations around the world.

Since I really love ice cream bars/popsicles, I have been meaning to try here for a while now. I went to the New York City location in the West Village. According to their website, there is another American location in Anaheim, California.

So, I think this is a relatively complicated process. I am really bad at making decisions and there were far too many decisions to be made. The pricing structure is also pretty complicated.

Your first choice is about type of bar you want to order. You can choose between gelato bars, sorbet bars, and yogurt bars. Then, you have to choose which flavor you want.

There are so many flavor options and I believe they change relatively frequently.

Then, you choose if you want your bar dipped in chocolate. You can choose between white chocolate, milk chocolate, or dark chocolate. Then you have to decide if you want your bar dipped completely, halfway on the diagonal, or drizzled with chocolate.

Finally, you choose your toppings, or "poppings" (what they call it). There are nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, pistachios), coconut shavings, crushed waffle cones, and crushed caramel corn.
If you want nut toppings, you have to choose a gelato flavor, just as a heads up.

I ended up choosing a green tea gelato bar, half dipped in dark chocolate, and covered with almonds. One of my friends got a mango sorbet bar and was very pleased with it.

Make sure to eat it quickly otherwise it will melt and drip on the floor (personal experience).

The pops are relatively expensive, so it's one of those occasional treats. The sorbet pop without toppings was about $3.50 and my gelato pop with toppings was about $5.

Popbar also sells hot chocolate on a stick. It seems like a cute idea for a gift. It was far too warm for me to even consider having hot chocolate. It may be good to try in the winter or late autumn.

Location: 5 Carmine Street.
Right around the corner from the W 4th Street Station (A, B, C, D, E, F, M).

[Skincare Review] Head-to-Head Test: Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair vs. La Mer The Concentrate

As promised, here is my blog comparing the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair vs. the La Mer The Concentrate. FTC disclaimer: I was sent both of these items for free in exchange for my full and honest review. I tried to be as scientific as humanly possible. I had a blinded reviewer (my mom) who was actually unaware I was even doing a skincare test, so her opinion is completely blinded and she tried really hard to give a full and honest review of differences she noticed. I did this for 2 weeks. In the 14 days before the test, I was testing out the Estee Lauder ANP product in exchange for my review. I had enough product left (and actually received a second sample to test). My nighttime skincare routine was the same as usual. 1) DHC Cleansing Oil - Buy from YesStyle | Buy from Amazon 2) Micellar Water (for eye makeup) 3) Rosette Cleansing Paste Sea Clay Smooth - Buy From YesStyle  | Buy from Amazon I used my PMD Clean (from CAUSEBOX) to wash my face.
